James Ewart
CEO of Aotea Group Holdings Ltd
James has had a long career within the trade-based sector, holding key roles within market-leading businesses such as James Hardie, Fletcher Building, Caroma Industries and Gerard Lighting. James was appointed into the role of CEO of AGHL Limited in May 2023. With a diverse background in managing complex businesses, bringing diverse teams together, and connecting closely with industry and the customer, James is passionate about taking Aotea Group into the future while not losing sight of our past.

Mike Daniel
Chairman
Mike is the chairman of the AGHL board. He also holds a number of directorships in various Aotea Group businesses. Mike is based in Wanaka.
Alistair Hogg
CEO of Aotea Security, MSC CPP
Alistair is the CEO of Aotea Security which has branches located throughout New Zealand. Alistair is based in our Dunedin office.
Paul Parsons
Director
Paul’s current role is as a director on companies inside the Aotea Group, along with being reappointed as a director of AGHLL. Due to his experience, Paul is supporting the CEO of AGHLL, acting as a mentor and troubleshooter as required.
Ian Butturini
Director
Ian is the Managing Director of Seven Electrical Ltd with extensive experience in the Construction Industry and is a Chartered Director.
Rex Prebble
General Manager of Christchurch Electrical
Rex is the General Manager of Christchurch Electrical. He also manages Hanmer Alpine Electrical and The Heat Pump People. Rex is based in Christchurch.
Jarred Nielsen
General Manager & Director Aotea Electric Bay of Plenty
Jarred is General Manager and a Director of Aotea Electric Bay Of Plenty. Jarred has extensive experience in electrical and security and began his career in 2001.
Marc Malone
General Manager of Aotea Electric Auckland
Marc is the General Manager of Aotea Group's largest company with 170+ staff. He is extremely experienced in the electrical industry. His strengths are working with people and he has a strong focus on marketing and innovation both in Auckland and also for AGHL.
Paul Moodie
Independant Director
Paul is Senior Partner with Findex. He is a Chartered Director and Fellow Chartered Accountant. Paul is the independent chair on a number of commercial and charitable boards.
